Alright folks. Here’s a philosophical notion.

I had a chat with someone who told me that in life we’re supposed to “create ourselves” whereas I argued that we need to “find ourselves in the world.” the argument went as such. Mind you I’m paraphrasing because I don’t save every last word I ever say.

Her: “Well clearly we need to make ourselves. There’s infinite possibility out there for us!
Me: “Yeah, but think about the world. Your infinite possibility is limited by your perception of the universe as we see it. Rather, you have to find the niche that you want to be in, as you would call it ‘creating yourself’ when there are really infinite possibilities (as you’ve said) that you can tag yourself to.”
Her: “But isn’t that just a way of using the universe to make yourself who you want to be? I mean, I feel like I choose who I want to be.”
Me: “Yeah, but your perception is that of the universe as you see it; it might not be how it really is on a larger scale. So really, you’re picking a place in this world that you want to be in by the decisions you’ve made previously. You’ve worked within the confines of your own perception to develop a niche for yourself.”

I have no idea why I continue to think Tumblr is a good place for these kinds of thoughts. I should REALLY go back to my old blog, buy the domain name, and just write shit like this all the time.

Foreshadowing in Arrested Development: Buster losing his hand

S1E18 - Michael appeared in the school play The Trial of Captain Hook. Later in the episode Fakin’ It from season 3, Lucille refers to Buster as “Captain Hook.”

S1E20 - “This party is going to be off the hook.”

S2E1 - When Lucille is watching the news, you can hear John Beard mentioning a surprise seal attack and then saying “meet one surprised bather, coming up.” The camera immediately moves to show Buster.

S2E3 - Buster arrives to Lupe’s house, sees the hand chair, and says “wow, i never thought I’d miss a hand so much.”

S2E6 - Buster is playing the claw machine and gets a toy seal. Later when he’s returning home, the narrator mentions that “Buster had gotten hooked playing” that game.

S2E11- Lucille, Oscar and Buster and in the beach, and when they’re talking, the seal is seen in the background. Later, George Sr. says about Buster “what if i never get a chance to reach out and touch that hand of his again?” And of course, the bench that shows “arm off.”

S2E12- When George Sr is at the car dealership, if you take a look at the inflatable doll/man in the back, you can see that it’s missing an arm. Also, when Gob is releasing the seal back into the wild, he says “you’re not going to be hand-fed anymore.”

For all cocktails layer the ingredients in the order given.

They should be really easy to layer if chilled.

Except Thor, that one you stir.

Happy Avengers Day one and all!! So the trick here is they get stronger the further you go down the list. We have the order very carefully placed and drinks carefully crafted to embody the heroes. We are using the movie universe avengers even though we are aware they were not the first avengers.

Captain America:

Doctor erskine was going to share blueberry schnapps with him, but he couldn’t have it. also due to his advanced tissues on his organs can’t get drunk. hence this shot is the weakest.

Iron man:

Tony stark has battled on and off with alcoholism so his tolerance for alcohol is high hence the high proof rum, yet he tries to not drink hence the grenadine to dilute the alcohol.

Thor:

He is a god. he drinks after battle and can handle his alcohol, yet human alcohol seems to affect him more hence he is the middle.

Hawkeye:

Jjust a normal human with unbelievable accuracy with all fire arms, bow being his weapon of choice. (p.s. Unlike the trailers we here at EXP bar on line do support Hawkeye and think he is bad ass)

Hulk:

He’s the hulk, as he so eloquently has stated in the past. “HULK AM THE STRONGEST THERE IS!!!!!” hence he is last.

So there you have it the avengers shot challenge. enjoy.
